Well i wasn't looking really  and was hoping for a Jdm Crx to do up this year and then i came across this for sale last week and i couldn't pass it.

Hard to get any Honda destined for Japland down here as they are all personal imports which are very rare so i always keep an eye out on the radar for the odd blip and in it came.

At $440 Aussie i couldn't believe my luck with 150 visits on Gumtree and the text came back it was still for sale,so one towtruck ride later it arrived today.

A non runner and was stated that possible coils trouble?/running rough last time driving @ 2yrs ago.

Seems to have been loved and club owned down here so thats good, for the money i could use it for spares if all else fails but plans are to get the basics done and diagnose from there.

Would like to use this as my daily eventually and keep the semi retire the Bb4 for well more fun excursions 8-) .

First job was to unseize the rear passenger caliper and we tried this coming off the flatbed but to no avail.

Got the caliper off on the garage floor after,it was jammed!!

Overall body is very good with no initial signs of rust or bad paint fade, small prang over rear passenger wheel was a mark all down front wing and drivers door but if buffed out 8-)

Can't wait to get stuck in and clean it at least!

Nice to be part of The Prelude Preservation Society

Let the fun begin.

looks like a great find and its worth putting a bit of tlc into.
for $440 bucks that's cheap,I was traveling Australia last year and I found the car prices were very expensive compared to the uk.I ended up buying a good pulsar s13 for my daily for $1500 with rego and roadworthy certificate which I thought was cheap :)

I actually thought it was a decent one with all the dust on it "Feels" after another recent post on the forum i was thinking, nope a Diy plumjob, probably got massive gains too or maybe it is this monstrosity that was causing the rough running :D

Anyway she got 3 hrs of my time yesterday exterior cleaning and some polishing to bring up the hood and roof, came up really well and most blemishes have gone.
Engine bay got a good splash too,was like Arachnophobia 2 with all the 8 legged creatures creeping out

No import /mod plate fitted has me sussing as they are usually on full display in the engine bay but i can't see one,and the front envelope reg plate holder, unless the oem was damaged or owner preferred the longer one :x .

Will continue on with the detailing for now,and interior will be next few days,it stinks.

Scourers to the ready.

List starting-

-Ariel
-Pads/maybe rotors
-Touch up paint
-Huge Magic Tree Airfreshner

I was going to say it looks like a failed feels intake.
