I have owned my prelude for just over two years now. I have done a few bits but not nearly enough. this summer i hope to do some substantial work.
She was completely standard when i got her. Motegi kit and wheels from factory and thats about it. Being a 99 it comes with teh sweeet redtop H22A8 and the "type s" dynamic chamber intake
the day i collected her:
Since then i have changed to a JDM style front plate which needs to be smaller imo. Also:
Cusco front and rear upper braces
greddy evo2 cat back and custom decat
replaced oem filter with K&N one
changed wheels to team dynamics pro race 16" in gloss black
blue wheels nuts
DC2 ITR gearknob
uprated plugs and HT leads
clear side repeaters
so this is how she stands now:
The red badges i thought were a good idea. Such a mistake. Have some chrome OEM ones but i need to work out how to attach them as sticky has worn off.

nice.
My chrome OEM ones are held in just by the pins/plugs. Haven't bothered to sticky them down because when it comes to cleaning time I just whip them off and haven't got to drokk about with getting the sponge in the gaps

Been discussing progress with rich at PAW and have decided to move to a Hondata system and swap out the intake for an accord type R one which ive sourced pre machined for the prelude just need a few plates and a bracket. Need an AEM fuel rail now.
Slight progress i decided to "attempt" to vinyl wrap my stereo surround. I will state in advance i have never tried this and just got some #m #d carbon wrap off ebay and a heatgun from local hardware store. Below are my results:
quick clean didnt do a very good job
few nicks and instances of holding heat gun too close but im happy with it for a first attempt
installed. Really pleased with the look, not sure whether to overcoat it in clear laquer unsure how it would look laquered and im happy with it currently.
now to whip the door switches out and cover them.

That will be awesome! A fair jump in power porbably.
I have said it before, black Ludes (especially the 99+) make me weak at the knees

Rich seems to think bhp in the 230s with what i have planned and the 4-2-1 if not a bit more. Im hoping the higher compression will lend itself to the upgrades

So car went in for the MOT failed....
rear lower ball joint
cracked front coil spring!!!!!
tyre wear uneven
all these are on same wheel so im thinking pot hole.
rear o/s brake light, changed bulb and it blew straight off
front head lamp bulb and many issues regarding beam pattern
advisories are both rear tyres approaching legal limit.
Guess its not too bad but not what i really wanted to be paying out for.

Think of it as upgrades

It will feel a lot better after the work is done.
