First Gen. - Second life

Post by Pot_147 » Thu Apr 12, 2012 8:55 pm

Hi all,

I promised earlier in another post that I'd post pics of my restoration project. I revived my old computer and managed to dig out one whole pic so far.
So here's what my car like about a year ago:

I need to start the other laptop and download the pics from my phone. There are a few more on there.
Let's see what I can do...

Here's what I could do.: The first two pics were taken last summer, the last two on Tuesday. All after full body repair and repaint. Tomorrow I will be back at my parents' place where the garage is and start taking the engine bay apart, just enough to clean it up a little. The car will start looking much better once I'll start putting the trim and indicators back on.

Just one question about restoring old classic cars (I hope it's not too stupid to get some bad rep  )

Where do you get stuff like windscreen, rubber strips etc from? Are they not discontinued parts?
