Post by rich-kez » Wed Apr 11, 2012 9:54 pm

Hey everyone Thought i would start a project thread for my prelude!
As many of you may know this is stans old car, very tidy example! She needs a little work now a few rust spots appearing on the arches and some chav scratched LEEDS UTD down my drivers door and my bonnet!  i also noticed a little bit of paint flake where the paint work wasnt keyed properly when she last had a respray, im a painter by trade so ill do all this my self!
Top of the list things to do are
Replace leaky crank seal and cambelt
Respray the whole car in Honda pirates black
change the smoked rear lights for OEM ones
possibly replace clear indicators for orange ones.

Current spec is
4 wheel steering
Electric Folding Wing Mirrors when locked by fob
Remote Central locking with Alarm and Immobilizer
Air Con
Fubjitsubo exhaust manifold
Spoon sports front splitter
Value racing side skirts rear bumper and spoiler
Apexi VTEC controller
HKS air filter with cold air feed
Fully converted Digital Dash
Red and White powder coated rocker cover
2 RECARO Bucket Seats
Pioneer head unit with ipod interface and 8 surrounding speakers
its had a head rebuild
The parts is has are double valve springs, nitride coated wasted stem valves. Titanium caps, and high temp valve stem oil seals. ;)
Tein superstreet coilovers
Asuka racing alloy wheels
Spoon sports chipped ecu
Japspeed full exhaust system

Absolutely loving it mate! Always been a big fan of the VS rear gear, spoiler and skirt. Looks awesome in black too :D Must admit I never thought the Spoon front lip would work so well with the VS kit, but I'm impressed, it looks the dog's bollocks mate 8-)

Something I did on my old lude with the VS rear skirt was I moulded it into the bumper to make it look one piece and I must admit, that has always been by favorite look on the rear end since then. It just looks like that's how it should have been made out of the factory in my opinion.
