Yep, collected her today.
Cheers to Si for the lift from the station, the cuppa and being a sound bloke
Drive home was...interesting. Fairly big accident about 4 cars ahead of me about an hour into the drive home. A smashed up Civic ended up in the central reservation, a Qashqai (I think) shot off the road to the left, ending up about 50 metres into a field. Could've done with a little less action on day one
Then it was all plain sailing until I got into my home town. There are only two types of roads where I live - poorly maintained ones, which was so rough in the Lude, it was like driving with octagonal wheels, and well maintained roads with every kind of speedbump known to man set about 60 feet apart for looong stretches. There are two places on the road up to my house where it's impossible not to scuff the underside of the car because of the layout of 3 mini humps in parallel across the road.
So the ride height & stiffness is job number one on the list, because I can't do that everyday!
It also squeaks like nobodies business inside the car, somewhere in the drivers side front corner. Drove me a bit mad after a couple of hours

Hey Ratty, cheers for the advice. You wouldn't recommend any changes to the suspension set up then?
These particular bumps are so drokking nasty even 'normal' cars scuff their underside if they don't crawl over them.
I'd be interested to hear any other opinions you had on the car, if you can remember it at all.
