great watching this through your progression, hoping I don't loose steam when I get started on the engine.

Cheers bud, engine rebuilds are a funny thing, you think it's gunna be a quick thing when your stripping it down but I find the build back up is a delicate process and its gotta be taken slowly and not rushed, Hense why I'm two months past the date I wanted to get the thing in and running

Your lude looks like you have a lot of challenging work ahead of you but keep that enthusiasm and it will all come together :D

haha took off the sill cover last night more tears were to be had
However after discussions and bit of gentle persuasion I have decided ill do the welding myself. £600+ a side is just a bit too over budget and the time to save that will leave the lude in limbo for a long time...I don't want that. So saving for a MIG and doing it myself is the best bet for me.

Edging closer mate well done looks good with the headlights swap,it will all pay off when the key turns for the first time and it turns over and not to forget that first Vtec run 8-)
How long has it been since you've had the pleasure of Vtec?
I was out in bb4 for the first time in 3 weeks there at the weekend just after dizzy trouble put me out for a bit, every trip brings a grin :D

Ahh I know them troubles, my bb4 had a bit at the rear of the sills, ended up doing the welding myself also, £600 sounds like a stupid price to me! Is that just for each sill? Or arches too?

Cheers mate, it's getting there slowly, yeah I can't wait for that first drive now, been 2years without VTEC
Oh no did you have to get a second hand dizzy from a wrecker?

2 years!plenty of fun ahead for you then,i had a spare dizzy there but it had the red dust problem and it failed on me before presuming the same problem(ignition coil)

So i just replaced it with a secondhand dizzy been too lazy to investigate so i was going to try the coil out of that but i had trouble with the rotor arms on both mine and the spare crumbed in the swap process so i decided to just go new on the coil and the rotor after considering myself lucky where the car died on me i don't want that happening any time again soon!
So new coil in and waiting on the rotor from Super cheap, running Bb1's dizzy in the Bb4 for the moment, still chuffed to have 2 cars to swap parts over, same when the alternator died, never dying dailies

I should try get up to yours when you get the engine in and ready to go,maiden voyage and all ;)

Ahh awesome it's so handy having two the pretty much same
I bet, think I need to get another soon haha...

Yeah mate, definitely pop up, I was meant to be doing the swap this weekend but I'm having trouble with a few little parts I need to finish it completely, sunny coast is really not a Honda enthusiasts haven :| couldn't even get a thermostat from local parts supplier Bursons, genuine only they said so I had to get one off eBay, that came from Brisbane..
Oh well what's one more week after 2 years
