Pushki, that is disgustingly, frustratingly gorgeous work, as always  :-(

(no but seriously, well done! Looks fantastic)

I don't mean to be a killjoy, but didn't I read somewhere something about not painting the mating faces of the calipers? @Gayno perhaps?

There is also the fact that Gayno didn't use a torque wrench on the bolts, iirc. Knowing Pushki's attention to detail, I expect he did?

great job done on refurbing the calipers - i love the pic where youve got the calipers back to bare metal 8-)
but what drew my eye the most was the fact that front brake heatshields look brand new  wow :) iv seen many ludes where these heatshields have disintegrated totally so im presuming youve put new ones on at some point ;)

I didn't paint any of the moving parts such as the pistons or slider pins. I'm sure it'll all be fine. :)

These are totally original. I did sand them down before fitting the disks and gave them a couple of coats of satin black.

Yes Wurly, I did use a torque wrench. :ugeek: :D

2 questions for you @Pushki:

1. Are you going for concours-plus (if there is such a thing) where you make the car totally original but better than when it left the factory? ...because that's how it's looking!

and, 2. How often/do you ever drive it?? ;)

...and Happy Birthday to you (if CARRisma is correct!)

Hey @duckface, I know what you mean, I am planning a caliper refurb before my MOT in August - but after seeing this, I'm just going to do it and keep quiet about it. Normal humans can't compete with this level of ridiculousness!!
