Boot carpet? £250
Front bumper? £244 (unpainted and bare without trim)
Rear bumper? £210 (as above)
Sunroof? (the rubber trim on mine has the usual wear to the front corners and isn't available separately) £600
:evil:

Just the exhaust gaskets it is, then! :lol:
That did make me laugh. :lol:

Quite the collection of metal you have now - problems? :lol:
All good stuff mate. 8-)

Actually, I stayed on and got started tonight after all;
- Battery changed
- Coolant drained (very :mrgreen: ) it was good strong concentration but very, very old, smelled bad and was going a bit 'thick'.
- Expansion tank removed and flushed (still not happy with it, so brought it home to flush properly with hot water). Quite a lot of gunk at the bottom of it. Removing the expansion tank was not fun... 3rd's are far less accessible to work on than 4ths!!!
- Oil drained (very black)
- Cooling system refilled with clean water
- Engine filled with flushing oil
- Run up for about 20 mins and oil drained

And then... I just locked up and walk away! No bloody packing up and making the car water tight required!!! :D :rock:

So that's all the hot stuff done, ready for all the cold stuff tomorrow; Cooling system and oil change to finish, exhaust swap, wheels off and brakes strip/clean/check, good look round underneath and hopefully not find anything else that needs doing! :? :scaredtoss:

Also before I left, the guy in another unit that has the Civic etc. turned up so I got chatting to him again - definitely a certifiable Honda nutter - he's just bought an Accord Tourer Diesel and spent the last week changing the timing chain (sub-frame and sump off job to change the oil pump :evil: ) and... Bought a JRSC for his B series!!! :o :rock:

Just a quick update without pics for now (they'll follow);

Oil and coolant flush and change finished, exhaust swapped, fog light fault 'fixed', brakes in progress (rear pads and carriers and the handbrake mechanisms were completely seized solid, but otherwise the rear calipers and discs are in great condition). I've decided to also flush through/change the brake fluid while I'm at it (had originally planned to do that later).

Just need to get the damn thing finished tomorrow :evil:

To update the 'note to self' I made earlier about exhaust crush-rings - for future reference in case these go unobtainable from Honda

And now onto the main event...
What I thought would be just a couple of days work actually took a while longer, but I still managed to get it done in the week I'd set myself.

No debating which way round these blades go - the wheels are handed with the sides shown on the casting 8-)

Complete with original OEM locking nuts/tool;
Image

More bits of exhaust falling off just from taking the wheels off :lol:
Image
Managed to get it all off in one piece though, in less than 15 mins - impact guns FTW! :rock:
Image
This snapped as soon was it was laid on the deck, though;
Image
Seen better days;

Anyway, clean up the old flanges properly;

New crush rings in place;

Bolted up;
Image
And with Lisa's help, the new (second hand) exhaust was hung back in place and all bolted up ready to go 8-) and then onto the brakes;

Hmmm, yep those have been sat for a while! ;)
Image
Pads needed hammering to get them out of the carriers :lol:
Discs must have been pretty new when it was parked up, because they had virtually no lip. The pads were well worn though, so new Pagid ones went on - some good news looking at the cross-referenced parts list is these should be available for a good long time! :lol:
Image
Surface of the discs were cleaned up with a file/emery paper as needed.
Drivers rear caliper was a right muffin to wind back, the piston was seized and even buying a 'pukka' wind back tool didn't help :evil: I was at the point of giving in and that a new one would be the only way (which I didn't have the time to buy and fit) before it suddenly it gave way.
Lisa gave the calipers and carriers a nice smartening up after everything was back together;
Image
The handbrake clevis pins were seized but I managed to get them out by 'abuse by mole grip' and fitted new ones that I ordered from Honda.
Fronts were a whole lot more straight forward, came apart ok and hardly any wear on the pads so they were just brushed down, cleaned, refitted and painted;
Image

It was a good job I'd decided to change the fluid - this was what the reservoir looked like after the brakes had been drained :?
Image
Fortunately all caught by the reservoir strainer though, so that was taken out and cleaned up;
Image
New fluid in, brakes bled, handbrake set up and adjusted ok, wheels on... Finished about 11pm on Saturday night, with the MOT booked for 10am Sunday morning! :scaredtoss:

This was a good start early on in the test 8-)

:o And this was the overall result! :rock:

That meant that on Thursday morning, it was time to buy my last ever one of these;
Image
And the car was fully legal and back on the road for the first time in 7 years!!! :clap:

Drove it back to my house for a clean ready for the trip to JAE.
Couple of things in the boot, one of which I like very much (the original dealer plates 8-) );
Image
This one I could have done without;
Image

And then en-route to JAE with Phil at the helm :rock:

Was well chuffed. The drivers side rear caliper stuck again on the first run over to my house (arrived to find that corner red hot and smoking :? ) but it was only going to be Phil at the wheel thereafter so I ignored and just made sure I stayed in front of him :lol: ;)
(actually, I just did a few more brake applications and it's been absolutely fine ever since.)

She's LOVELY to drive and I'm surprised by just how well she goes - especially after having the cobwebs properly blown out by a 200-odd mile journey.

So list of servicing work to get her back on the road;
- Replacement battery
- Replacement centre and back section exhaust
- New rear pads
- Brake service, including new clevis pins, fluid, rear pads
- Engine oil flush, filter and oil change
- Engine cooling system flush (3 times) and change
- Alternator change, after that crapped out

Plans for the rest of this year;
- Clean/treat/restore the leather
- Straighten the bumper fitment out
- Sort out the drivers speaker not working
- Change the stereo for an OEM Honda CD head unit that I have
And that'll do, dry stored over the winter.
Cambelt, gearbox fluid change, fuel and air filter change, and get the dodgy panels repainted next year
