^

Great write up and well done for sorting it methodically and 'properly', not resorting to hacking wires left right and centre.

Honestly man, I'm glad it was just a small missing loom and that I could help 8-)
Oh and just to make the circle complete, I'm pretty sure the dials I took it off came from...ammo

It's just the gift that keeps on giving! :D

excellent "I love it when a plan comes together". I honestly didn't want to cut an shut all the wires wanted to get it as close to perfect as I could and i'm happy with the outcome.

Alot of patience with a bit of know how and a great result, nice work.
The upgrade makes such a difference considering how much time is spent look at the cluster.

I'm running the one i bought for the Lude 2 in El Bb4's just making sure all is good and i've noticed the speed needle doesn't budge till say 10kmph has passed from a start off, almost thought it wasn't functioning on the first spin as i live in a complex so was low speeding for the first minute exiting and the needle didn't rise, got out and it came up fine then once revs delivered but have noticed it on motorway driving it feels like it's 10kms ahead, very much so after the 100kms point which is most of my daily route but it feels like it's hitting the 110kms and a little over too soon when i still feel it should be at 100kms,maybe it's just me
Rest of the speed increments seem good though.

Need some time away from clusters for now

That how-to write up will help others,i was asking about the dimmer box been left out and you just confirmed that and all seems good so,cheers

Quick question it might be better suited to being elsewhere I saw that in a conversation recently someone was looking for a loan of a bench sand blaster. Is it worth buying one of these or should I just pay a company to do it?

Blimey, you did that the hard way - not having 4ws dials etc.

As for a sand blaster, I'm pretty sure they're a great investment (I want one!) vtecmec has bought one so is best to advise though.

Cheers man but I wanted to do everything I could to make it as proper as possible. It took time and effort but worth it in the end I think.
Yeah I think I will have to invest in one. They look decent.
