Hey everyone, sorry i haven't been on in ages! Been so busy atm, comps been down for a while too :(

Hasn't been too much going on, my 'apexi' air filter finally turned up the other day  to be honest its actually really good, sounds a lot nicer now, more deeper than it was before, and there's been no real difference in mpg!! :D

Image

i need to get some heat wrap when i get paid and wrap the pipe up, make it look a bit nicer ;) i was hoping to make a cooler shape/design other than the 90 degree pipe but it wont really fit it any other way :(

Also i did the cam shaft seal! thank god! hardest part was timing it back up, took me and my mate like 40 mins trying to get the crank and the cams aligned properly :L but non the less thats other thing ticked off the list, need to get a new cam cover seal as thats on its way out -.- will get a new one and use some instant gasket too just to be sure lol

And here's a nice pic of the car using the best instagram editing ;)

Got a price for coilovers from gaz, £425 +vat and postage so will be saving for a couple of months for those, then it'll be dropped, an inch on the front and about 2 on the rear i think, we'll see when there on lol. Other than that ive sorted all the vacuum leaks i had so she idles fine now and runs like a gem 8-)

I've been going to a few weekly meets around the area, mostly JustJap ones, really nice bunch of people too :) got another one next month with hondas.in.south which someone i know goes to so should be a laugh :)
Will be looking to go to some shows this year too :) once i know if ive got into the RAF or not il be able to make plans lol, cos if i get in i get all my training and leave dates so i have to work around that lol

but yeah il be on here now ive got my comp working lol and hopefully upload some more stuff soon :)

Cheers
Rob

Yeah the JustJap one's every Tuesday evening at Madeira drive but its not a jap only meet lol, atm not too many people have been coming but when it gets lighter and the weather improves more people turn up haha.

The honda in south one is once a month at the marina, but i havent been to that one yet il let you know what its like lol, i think a lot of them are into stancing etc

I imagine it's an 8mm pipe you'll need. You should be able to find a breather filter with an 8mm pipe neck on it.

sweet cheers for the link :) ordered it now so should be here soon lol.

My titanium heat wrap turned up yesterday :P put it on earlier now i have loads of fibres in my hands :( but yeah doesnt look too bad, got loads left over so will get round to do the manifold soon too :)

Image

Coilovers im gana to have to get next week as one of the front springs has snapped again and the rear shocks have completely gone :( handles like a pig atm :(
il order those from gaz on monday and hopefully it doesn't take too long to make, then she will be lowered so the arse end isn't in the air anymore!

Other than a box that 2 of the vacuum pipes go into snapping off the throttle body (idled at like 3k until i got the 2 pipes into the throttle body) i've had to do a temporary cable tie repair to get them to fit as one pipes too big for the avliable hole its all been good lol

il put an update when ive got the coilovers sent and put on the car :P 8-) been really busy recently doin extra work, late nights, going to bed early to recover its all been mad

Cheers
Rob
