look mate I would snatch that mugen bumper off you but if all that's wrong with the car is the engine, ie not the bodywork then you would be a fool to let it all go and start again. You wouldn't get it all for what you got this lot for you will be doubling your expenditure for the sake of an engine and you could get an a8 like mine for not a lot

Yeah I just remembered that as I was spooning Stace

Got to agree with Merc, and having now met him in person I can honestly tell you that he looks like one of those people who are never wrong... Like a wise old owl ;-)

Like wise - I'm in too.

I have a spare engine sat in my garage, there is light scoring on the piston walls but would be fine to use. If it means you would be tempted to keep her, you can have the engine! Literally take it, swap parts around and get it fitted.

I appreciate your loss of alot of money having PAW fit this engine, the timing of this unit failing is what's eating at you, but ultimately I think you're making a rash decision beacuse it's made you feel so angry. We'd all feel it too. But ultimately you'd be back to square one one day with a fresh lude and sourcing parts again.

Plus, who will I sell all my old stuff too?
