They are held on with a very strong velcro tape thing, so I can take it off for shows/track/meets.

Just updating my car with recent interior mods. (Sorry for the crappy iPhone pics - will get some more in the photoshoot coming up next month with some cool JDM cars)

Now I have some Recaro seats in my car. They are from an imported Civic Type-R (Ep3) and I believe they were available on the 30th edition'd EP3 as well. Always wanted them, give a bit more red to go along with my red carpet, red centre console etc and these are more comfier and also more supportive on good freaking insane drive on the weekend. I've have had normal UKDM leather seats, half leather/half cloth from JDM and also the full red leather in the past Preludes but Type-S was the best one.

First a comparison picture side by side with the Type-S vs Red Recaro seats. The Recaro seat with Bride seat rails makes it more lighter then the standard Type-S with OEM rails.

Image

Although the Recaro's mounted on the Bride rails perfectly, there was lots of modding required. The seat pan actually was hitting on the rails. After a lot of cutting, adjusting and trail fitment, the first seat was in.

Image

Then second seat was easily on the car as I knew exactly what I was doing and what needed to be modified. (Excuse the purple wheels, they are just on the car for a while until I get some cool wheels :hurr: )

Some pictures of the Red Recaro's with the car's body work.

They look fantastic! Dibs on the Type-S seats if you decide to sell them...
