I'm with Wurly on this one.

I much admire what you've done to bring this back, but some intensive "Horrid Wheels Aversion Therapy" might be an idea.

I'm happy to say I 100% agree with you both  They look ridiculous! Especially with the current size tyres on them and the lack of drop...

Image

Basically I got them dirt cheap with nearly new Toyo T1-R's on (The tyres are just smaller than stock size). It was a set of three and the third has a bit of kerbing in one spot. The plan was to use the two best ones (which are mint) and then use two of the remaining three RH Classics I had from the Aerodeck, plastidip them all black to tie them in a bit better, fit them, and then sell the Rondells to fund finally buying the set of wheels I now know I want ;-)

I've missed two opportunities recently to buy the wheels I want and they don't come up often, so I need to be prepared for the next time.

You're right by the way Ratty... Dare Enkei RPF1 reps, and normally I love the real deals in black 8) ...

Image

I'm still not going to rule my plan out just yet, but I might actually do some tyre swapping and stick them on the front instead, as they give an illusion that they're a smaller rim than the RH's...

Image

... But I certainly won't be rushing to do the swap for the National Meet that's for sure

Well here's a set of genuine RPF1's on a 3rd gen Mart and I don't think they look too out of place... Not as much as that spoiler anyway ;-) ...

Image

Although I want to go for a meaner look, so black will blend them in a bit more. Anyway we'll see, although I don't think anything is going to look to its full potential until the car is dropped a bit more ;-)

And Schmidt TH Line 3 piece Cults Rob 8) ...
