Said it before and I'll say it again, no matter how good/clean/rustfree your 5th gen looks check the inner arches and the rear jacking points.

Jacked mine up today at the rear jacking point and bang. Here is the result.

Folded in and crumbled away.

After most of it was cut out this was the result

Luckily the inner/sill is fine.

Unlucky with the jacking point rust... poor 90's Hondas are always suffering with it in wet climates.

Yep looks familiar
I had to replace a big section of sill and right round the inner wheel arch on the passenger side, fabricating a new jacking point.
Still need to do drivers side inner wheel arch :?

Bit of a pain, but not the end of the world - fortunately not a complex section in that area to repair?

Nice handy bung nearby to inject some good rust killer and protection in afterwards, so it doesn't happen again ;)

Revival time. Cars obviously sat for a while with my time away etc. Rust has come back a little. No surprise really. Do I sort what's it needs for mot. Strip it. Or sell as is for someone else to revive it.

Brakes need attention. Master cylinder. Have a 2nd hand spare.
Mani/downpipe blowing. Was gasket last time so easy fix.
Battery replaced last month. Genuine Honda.
Braided lines fitted.
Low mileage for year. From memory 95k on clocks, first 25k in km.
Crunches going into 5th at higher revs, common fault on 5th gen early boxes. have an m2p4 from an a8(sure that's right)
No history so belt more than likely due.

Post some proper pics of the car and try to sell it as a whole before splitting/breaking it.
