So just a few small additions that I've not mentioned yet. I fitted a new replacement steering wheel boss gaiter before she went off to the bodyshop. The only one available as a spare on ebay and just so happened to be exactly the same as the existing broken one I had. Just need to get a collar made up to cover up the remaining gap and do away with the zip-tie now  ...

Also fitted a replacement glovebox on the car's return...

Picked up this perfectly sculpted piece of rubber from Sam at Japfest yesterday :D ...

And I also picked up this from another fellow member at the show too  ...

I'm not going to mention his name as their's a chance it wasn't who I assume it was, but there's also no chance he did it on purpose either, so I'm really just hoping for an apology (via PM). All I can say is thank got I'm getting it resprayed as otherwise I would be seriously pissed.

were there any finger brushing marks on the paint when you got to it? if so then they definitely knew they hit it, any other paint from the other car left on it?

I've had an apology from said person and a kind offer to pay for the damage to be sorted, so that was enough for me :) Fingers crossed it'll just be a case of lightly sanding over it when it comes to prepping it to be resprayed, so hopefully there shouldn't be any reason to ask for any money.

I'm getting into this washing your car biz!... I've washed it every weekend so far since I got it back! :D

I'm still completely undecided about where to fit my front number plate though. I'm not loving it in the window, besides the fact it's a bit naughty, but the front end looks so much better without it there. Anyway, I thought I'd take some more pics...

Front end does look good. 8-)

Get away with it for as long as you can ;) Looks much better. What is the legal word on it though?

Slightly off topic but today was the first day in 2 years of Prelude ownership that I've caught the attention of 5-0 and been a bit wtf. Switched lanes on a busy roundabout behind me, then we played cat and mouse through an estate and then he followed me up my road. :? Didn't stop me or anything though.

I did try it central at the top behind the rear view mirror which didn't look too bad, but I need to make a wedge to make it more secure. I'll have to take a pic of that to see what the thoughts are ;-)

The front end looks awesome naked  i say put a vinyl plate on the front, although that's even less legal!!

I overtook a marked traffic police car on a dual carriageway in my 4th gen without tax or MOT and didn't get pulled over  And before I get my knuckles rapped, I was returning from an unsuccessful MOT :)

Now my Mk2 Golf on the other hand, on day 2 of ownership I found myself standing on the kerb showing my documents

JDM style doesn't do it for me on a 3rd Sam I'm afraid. I was even considering switching the G30 OWD from the Aerodeck to the Lude, just so it takes up less space. Costs £80, but I've already got the plates, which offsets the cost a tad as I was wanting to get fresh new plates for it anyway.

Yeah, the silver 'deck has gone to heaven. The blue one is out the front next to the silver lude
