the sun was shining today, had nothing to do around the house, so decided to actually tackle the bumper and lip.

using a soldering iron and the cut pieces of the old 4th gen bumper and thin strips of the 4th gen bumper as welding rods i attempted the plastic welding, bit messy and very time consuming.

a clean up and rough sanding.

first layer of filler applied.

still need to make the exhaust outlet part of the lip squarer as its still arched in the middle to much, but its a start.

Yep, this ^^^^

Is the new fog going roughly the same place as the hole you've filled? (Just wondering if that might be easier to cut before the filler is finished?)

Ah right, gotcha. I must-have missed the update in plans... Didn't know that mod was also being done on 5ths.

another air bag and vtec light relocation

Post by honda-hardy » Mon Jun 24, 2013 11:56 pm

weather nice, time to play. recieved my new to me air bag in the post.

fitted a treat, but whilst fitting it i had to move the car with the bag off, doh. air bag warning came on and stayed on. lucky lude-dude posted a thread on how to clear the air bag light.

it has a few marks but alot less than the one on the car.

and before.

as i had a few mins to myself, i stripped the clocks out and relocated the vtec light.
