Its only a chipped 1.4T but fully S-line. its way too low for any cargo in the back though....

engine ok, turbo on its way
Right..
Engine is ready. Will pick it op tomorrow.
New headgasket (OEM) timing belt (Greddy) waterpump(Gates) and a set of ARP L19 rod bolts
It had ARP2000 rod bolts but my builder said it could be a weak point. the rest can handle 600+ /8000 rpm easy .
Im sending my Ram horn manifold to Zircotek in the UK. its going to be ceramic coated. Not going to tell you what colour...
Turbo is ordered.. its going to be the Borg Warner S362 with T3 Vband turbine.
its a 750 WHP turbo and its gonne take alot of tuning before I can get it drivable.
My tuner mentioned RPM and gear controlled boost.. hope ist going to work out.
Also my rollcage has to be changed slightly, Going to work on this tomorrow.
Will have to flush all my oil lines and oil cooler before installing everything again..
pictures will follow! someday....

No Probs, glad you like the settings I use. Next time out play with your tyre pressures. If you want more over steer / less under steer put more air in your rear tyresgb-lude wrote:wheels aligned with the settings recommended by Merlin , thanx bro, car drives great!
Everything was good , bought 3 sessions of 20 min and put on my race suit.
Problem 1, The cage is way to close like I said before. can hardly move my head.
Poblem 2, I cant see SH#t .. my mirrors are too small and the rear spoiler too low.
Problem 3...... well I broke the turbo...

Problem 1 is a problem I have been trying to sort ever since I finished my car. My head is very close to the diagonal bar in the roof of my roll cage.
Sorry to hear of the turbo failure

The service manual says that the M2J4 has a FD of 4.266. I have a spare 4.062 FD from my M2F5 if you are interested in making your gearing longer?gb-lude wrote:ALso I need some advice on a final drive.
I have a M2J4 gearbox with relatively short gears (its from a 2.0 non vtec) and need a different fd.
Can anyone talk some sense into me what to get?
