Well decided I would pull this out this evening by myself :)

And this is how as I didn't have a crane haha.

Slide it straight out the front on a pallet, I'll be cleaning this up then renting an engine crane and doing the swap in a day.

Moneys tight but the battle continues where it can, seeing as the engine is out i thought i would get cleaning bits and pieces, starting with the starter.

Stripped down the front of the engine to:

i have loads of wee brackets of the gearbox all primed up now. made a jar using All brite aluminium cleaner, it stripped these back to bare metal in 6 hours.

Using this method i found that it needed drying super quick, or it will start rusting again, i used a hair dryer. and etch primed as soon as i could.

great work, as i advise everyone, tighten the seat of your fitv. undo the 2 screws that cover it. tighten it clockwise till it stops.
this helps with the future posibility of hunting idle.

Thanks for the advise man :D , Ive a skunk 2 inatke manifold here, so the intake side will be stripped and cleaned to,

I have 5ltrs of 2k black paint and lacquer, ive ordered a wee mini spray gun for the compressor so i will save a bunch on rattle cans and have a stronger paint and finish.

Wow this is some serious work! Getting some great ideas for mine. Touching up old looking stuff makes everything looks so much better! Keep it up!

Great work mate :) That Gunk is amazing isn't it? You know it's good when the top layer of skin on your hand is flaking off a couple days after you've used it without gloves anyway
