Those pipes are for the FITV (Fast Idle Thermo Valve). More than likely the previous owner hase rerouted the coolant lines so the throttle body isn't in contact with hot coolant. I take it your idle when cold is a little rough?

This /\ Oh and it may not be rough if it's been tuned well.

Thanks guys but my idle is rough in the morning.Everytime it's cold and you start the Lude you have to rev her slightly for maybe 10 seconds to stop her stalling

Yeah that will be the lack of FITV. 30 seconds of partial throttle should be enough to get her going though?

I remember that the car was tuned, and made mid 220's I believe.

Yeah bud you only have to hold the idle at about 1500 rpm for a few seconds.Mid 220s you say I don't rele know I do know it pulls like a train low down which my a5 didn't do.I can feel the difference lol

So I had this japspeed exhaust fitted last week as I like the jap can look more than the Oem look it is a tad loud but I like loud what do you guys think
