Well, it's done now. I'll double check with the paint shop, and wash/degrease to remove the wax it if it's a problem.

1 month is fine before waxing.
If you wax it soon after painting you trap in the solvent gasses and it starts to dull the lacquer and pop.
Seen it happen very often on repairs.
You might be able to get away with 2 weeks. I waited 3 months when I resprayed my car and even after 6 months I could still smell the gases.
