Re: my bb4
hmmm im getting the itch to sell up and get an s2000 or dc5 now that my wages allow for it!
what do you lot think id be best off doing if i did? sell or break? ill list the current spec -
95' bb4 LSD with private plate
90k miles with recent cambelt
mugen front bumper
mugen skirts
azect spats
wings west aero spoiler
carbon fibre bonnet + pins
CTR seats
snap off steering wheel
fujitusbo manifold
decat
fujitsubo catback
oz super t's in 16" with good eagle f1's
apexi afc 2
tein basics
robs chip
will have a traction bar fitted when it finally arrives!
front + rear strut bars
recent respray without a spec of rust on it anywhere
and little things like, wired up properly so that theres vtec in first + no speed limiter, not that it matters to newcomers to ludes!
know theres a few quids worth in parts but it would break my heart to see it as a shell
be honest....what would it be worth putting it up for sale for? £1500?? obviously i wouldnt be happy with that price but realistically what am i going to get for it?!
i mean next on the list was to get this traction bar fitted then go ahead with the turbo kit ive got sat under my bed but i just cant help but sometimes think that all the money ive spent so far (and it is alot
) could have been saved and i could have a monster sat outside now
i dunno maybe im just needing to spend some money on it or something to make me fall back in love!
another few pics to remind you all what it looks like

I hate having times like that, I was like it a few weeks ago!
I found the best thing to do was take it for a really long drive, that cheered me right up. Or you could finish the project and have a right monster for a lot less wasted money...

In all seriousness, the first thing I'd suggest is to drive the other cars. The S in particular is not for everyone. I know I must sound like a broken record, but I really wanted to like it, but I just found it a bit...meh.
Never got around to driving a DC5, but I'm told they are about the nearest to a H22, cant 100% get on with the looks though, from the side it just looks a bit...fat?!
You have a very tidy lude, and I dare say you would end up missing it or maybe even regretting it.
The simple fact is you need a whole lot of car, maybe even money, to get something thats a rewarding as a lude to drive. A lot of cars these days are quick in a straight line, but they are just bloody boring!

Who will buy my other parts!

Come on, suck it up and take her for a spin to feel the love again. You done a track day in it yet? That'll sway you.
It would be a shame to see all your hard work go to waste by breaking the car. It's got some tasty bits (I should know!), but it's a fairly complete car to get a top end price for it. I'd say more than £1500 personally.
Maybe it's winter blues?
