Most tracks do not allow suction cups and want hard fixed mounts only. However you can sometimes get round it by securing a suction mount to the car with cable ties etc.. so that if the suction mount comes loose it is still attached to the car.

Re: Another Track 4th gen - 4 wheel alignment results.

Thanks for all the kind words guys. Believe it or not, I'm going to run those pads and see how they do   I have my oem pads if they fail :? Merlin, I believe you are correct about the suction mounts being secured in other ways. I think this applies to Coombe, whereas it has to be tied to something aswell as suckered on 8-) :)

Got the 4 wheel alignment done today by our local tyre land. Those guys really understood what the car was built for and listened to what I had to tell them which was great, as the result in the way it drives now is epic. 8-) 8-) :)

Brilliant, almost exactly what I was expecting to see. It drives amazingly now 8-) £48 well spent :)

Cheers chaps :)

Yup when I was using my suction cup during SLS the scrutineer made be cable tie the whole thing to my roll cage.

A bit of a funky caster :? Do you feel it pull to the side at all? I had a caster issue for ages on my 4th gen and it was only solved by fitting a traction bar with adjustable radius rods.

Yea it used to pull real bad. Not much pull at all now it's all been set. I don't know why that is, it does have polly bushes in the radias rods. I'm looking at getting a traction bar set up now 8-)

Off caster is not a huge problem. I wouldn't go spunking money just because of it. Although traction bars are good 8-). The wheel alignment specialist I go to told me that it wouldn't hugely affect handling and the most I would feel it would be on the motor way.

OEM radius rods don't have anyway of adjusting them other than putting shims in place. I had poly bushes on the OEM radius rods before I got the traction bar.
