Re: Fefelarue's 3rd gen Honda Prelude
Hello friends, it's been a while, but now it's sunny so it's car time again.
You may remember this ingenious yet horrendous yet airtight bodge:

I decided it was time to sort it properly, so I got one of these:

And some of these:

And did this messyAF but solid couple of welds:

Then I decided my boot build wasn't good enough, so I spent a day in absolute misery and severe pain chiseling off this wankycuntshitbollocks sound insulation:

Then stripped the boot:

So that I could do this:

Yay, it's yellow. I know right.
Then I failed the MOT because the battery was apparently insecurely fastened because it was sitting on the back seat, who'd have thought eh? So I had to screw it into the spare wheel thingy in the middle for the time being:

But as much as I like the yellow stripped out yo look, I needed some bass to keep me awake on my early morning drive to work, so went to B&Q, to find it had closed down, but was being refitted, and there was a load of MDF outside. So after a quick chat with the lovely shopfitter dudes, i walked away with 2 6x4 sheets of the henchest MDF if ever freaking seen. For free

Then after lots and lots of measuring and cutting and measuring and cutting and more measuring, I made this heavy as balls fitted box:

It's a bit over-engineered for the sub I'm using at the mo, but now I can upgrade to a nice big powerful dealeo without having to worry about the box flexing to pieces.
I think I might do another one on the other side then join them with a brace or summat like that, what do you guys think?

At least you won't have any trouble cornering to the right!
Should have put it the otherside to balance the car out a bit more
And seriously with the battery on the back seat at the time of MOT?

I do like the yellow boot though. Might have to do something with mine like that. I've got no lining and the underside of the bootlid is a different colour. I was going to line it to match the underside of the bootlid, but might just go for something eccentric like yours
