well i will shut at 5.00 pm on friday the 20th and open back up again on friday the 3rd of january . this is the only time im shut for more than 3 days on the trot for a whole year but i like to spend some quality time with my family at xmas and nobody wants to spend on a car then anyway. ( i do open for existing customers who may have a problem over xmas if it gets them out of trouble and we do a rally every year called the xmas stages that i need to work for aswell ) you got to take your annual holiday at some point yeah ;)

Hey Hondaboy. Driveshaft solution atm seems to be splicing 3rd & 4th's together. Which apparently is quite straightforward & will do the job as well as anything else. ;)

Was going to say make sure whoever splices them together knows what they're doing and doesn't just do a flat join, but then you're getting Trammy to do the job aren't you? And he'll know.

So, got my ARB Stabi links changed over yesterday (thanks Aaron - Dbo's boy). And the old ones were a little perished..

Looks better now though..

Not too sure about the state of one of the plugs that came out though!

Aaron & Dbo reckon it looks like the rocker gasket is shot. Hopefully it will be ok though till it's conversion time. As I really don't want to be spending any more money on this engine now. Put a new set of AC Delco plugs in anyway! Nice.

Aaron also changed the rear calipers & bled the brakes, but I forgot to take a photo. Exciting as that would have been!

Anyway, handles a bit better now, brakes a little better, and no more grinding coming from the rear brakes anymore.

Changed the sidelight bulbs too cos one was out. Interesting colour scheme going on at the front of my car now.. :?

Might need to look into standardising that..

Anyway, should be set for it's MOT now, other than the cosmetic welding that needs doing. So winning! ;)
