We'll looks like I will be taking some of the motor apart again tomorrow :?. Got in it after work and heard a funny whirring noise that was kinda coming and going :( type of noise a bearing makes maybe, or a belt just rubbing the cam belt cover

Then whilst looking around I found the drokking alternator had come loose and the belt flapping around :? Swiftly fixed that but the noise is still there, and definitely coming from inside the cam belt cover :? :o

I guess it could be a few things, loose cam belt that's hitting/flapping against the belt cover, shagged cam belt/balancer belt bearings or the cheap water pump bearings have shat them selfs.

Guess I will find out tomorrow :?

I had a whirring noise that faded in and out. Took it to Rich at PAW for a cambelt change, and he found this was the cause. Showed my the pump afterwards, the pulley had about 5mm movement either way
