Sorry, I can't recall those wires off hand.
sometimes I was movind backwards.. took me 3 days to sort out the wiring and get everything back together..

If anyone with a 4th gen can have a look at the connector and disconnect it when the car is running maybe to see what happens.. I will sart my own investigation again soon.

Guys, really thinking about upgrading my brakes.
Will wait till it drives ofcourse but just know my legend calipers and large discs won't be enough.

Been looking into D2 Racing and K-sport ( they are basiclly the same) Also willwood and and spoon have options but there is another option..
Change the knuckles over to 5 bolt from a 5th Gen and get some stoptech big brakes. Drwaback is they only do a front set.

What do you think is the best option>? go for the 330mm 8 piston setup front and rear from D2/K or go for the better Stoptech front??

Its not the bwown one but the clear connector with the blk/yel - grn/blk and blk wire...
Are they not the wires shown on page 23-59 (the wires that come out of the "ELD Unit" )?

Ok +rep

:? That prompts the next question then... What does it do once it's detected it? And why is it only on 4g's for some markets?

About your brakes, Id say I wont matter wether you go D2/K or Stoptech.
I just know Stoptech was previousely Powerslot who were quite good, I believe.

I only would go 5x114,3 if I needed a bigger range of rims, but otherwise not.
You have to sell your current rims if you'd change.

Plus why would you upgrade your rear brakes ? You have enough when using your stock setup.
A big 4 pot rear setup is just wasting money imo.

FAIL

first start attempt...
Crancked it first, took a while before I had oil pressure and oil in the turbo. Fuel pressure good. no leaks.

Connected the MSD blaster coil lead and tried staring..
Nothing ... Checked for spark: no spark...
Put a volt meter ion the MSD SS blastercoil... DON'T... Volt meter blown :D
took the distributer cap off.... no rotor :geek:
After installing it I was sure it was gonna fire up.. But no..
Took the plugs out:

NO COMPRESSION!!!!! on all cylinders
WTF guys... realy don't get it.
Timingbelt is on the correct way. I will check this again but I spen so much time doing this right.
Camshafts do rotate and the valves all move.
haven't checked for fuel in my oilpan yet. thats what I'm gonna do next.

Any ideas?? Engine has NEVER run.. Its build by a very experianced builder who has done many Honda engines before.
Having no compression at all must mean there is somenthing wrong but all pistonrings gone bad is impossible...

Let me know!

All the valve clearances set correctly? i.e. are all valves fully closing?
Head gasket all torqued up correctly?
Are you testing it with a compression tester, is that definitely done up properly/sealing in the spark plug hole correctly?

 Not much else it could be? :?
