Re: GB-lude project, new pic p12
Thanx man.. I had a cheap fiberglass wing before but this looks better and probably is. good thing about it is that I can get higher "legs" for it and see what works best.
but with the sleak line of the lude this looks the quite good. Will make a better picture soon,

I was going to go custom on the brackets and fix to the back face of the boot and allow loads of adjustment up, down and tilt, a bit like the Rocket Bunny BRZ one...gb-lude wrote:Thanx man.. Driving me nuts..... got some wires left with no labels..
Found out my AEM wideband guage only works with the AEM ECU.. so have to find another wideband guage.
still waiting on some parts..
Can anyone help me out with the wiring of my TUNERVIEW II ??? Even the buttons came off. really don't know what to do with it...

Re: GB-lude project, new pics. midconsole
Spend some serious hours working on my car..
Not gonna bore you with talk and pics about wiring ..
Friend of mine helped spray my doors.. Takes alot of time prepping and spraying thin layers.
Previous owner pained the doors white with a roller and they had some damage.

All my fluids are in. Running in oil, normal oil and waterless coolant.

Had to cut the midsection out as I screwed up... good thing too as the aluminium was a bit thin anyway.

When I cut all the holes and test fitted everything I sprayed the whole midconsole in 6 layers of plastidip.
Most of the wiring is prepped. still have a few things to sort.
Also found out my mini heater is crap so will have to febricate something else.
Think I will go Merlins way ( think he had the blower and big hose connected to the fan ducts for the windshield.
Well here it is:

The red guarded toggle switch is going to switch between high and low boost.
The switch below is a switch between narrow and wideband O2 sensor.
Till next time!

Re: GB-lude project, new pics. midconsole
Next.... did a 9 hous session today.. sometimes I feel like i'm going backwards and only adding things to the list.
I installed a watertemp sensor, found a great spot for it. did not want to buy a radiator hose adapter and cut my SS braided hose.. Origionally wanted to fit the sensor in the radiator somewere but this is even better..

Also drilled a hole in my very expensive ramhorn manifold.. took a while as most of my drill bits just burned up... damn that thing is hard.. The nut for the EGT sensor is going to be welden by my friend as its SS on SS.

Scrapped my crappy heater/blower... the inline blower works very well!
Not fidling around with the details anymore. what you can't see doesn't have to be pretty..
lets get it done!!

Pull cable for killswitch is amost done. will finish it tomorrow.
more pic soon!
