Exactly how much more power over stock do you have?

its 135 ish standard but im not exactly sure what its putting out, benny said around the 180 mark but il make a guess at 160-170 is a bit more realistic for what its had done :)

bloody hell, correct me if I'm wrong, but that's a helluva power increase over standard, is that a possibility for such an engine, realistically?

this is pretty much all its had done:

HKS Windmaster Exhaust that was imported from Japan.
OBX-R Manifold for the 3rd gen but cut & modified to fit

engine block:
Chemical cleaning both block and head, cylinder rebore and hone, cylinder head skim, and block decked.

compression ratio increased from 9.4:1 to 10.5:1

New Piston Rings
ACL Race Engine bearings
throttle body bored an extra 4mm
Adjustable Cam pulleys
adjustable fuel pressure regulator

Head work carried out was:
matching the inlet manifold, porting out the plenum intake to the larger throttle body polishing the inside of the inlet manifold,
reworking the inlet and exhaust ports, reshaping the valve guide ramps and guide ends,
polishing chambers and de-shrouding around the valve seats.

i think the 180-190 is a real high expectation, il change the clutch and put it on a rolling road see what shes actually putting out lol

:? I hate to say it, but... I think misalignment of the box could cause that kind of failure too? :?

EDIT:
Yep, have a look in here page 13, example numbers 16, 17 and 18. I might be wrong, but..?
Page 7 also shows in diagram form why.

I agree with w/c, it would be pretty catastrophic for a new clutch to go in such a short space of time, especially twice. I'm also doubtful that a realistic power increase would cause such an early failure rate. I think the quoted output rate of this engine, even considering the engine upgrades, is way overly optimistic.

There's 2 dowels that locate the box, with them in place and the gearbox bolts torqued up properly how could it be misaligned? :?

Page 30 example 18 and page 26 example 6 looks more like it, and as what jjmartin says there's a couple of dowels so the box fits nice, and all the gearbox bolts are always torqued down :/ it's weird, il see what the company say when I send it off n go from there lol

[quote="jjmartin349571"]If there's large amounts of white deposits on the spark plugs it can be an indicator of oil entering the combustion chamber. My Civic is burning oil and there were large deposits of white crusty jobby all over the plugs:

Well comparing them to yours bud mine are halfway there I changed them over to nology silvers with magnecor ht's but not taken them out yet to check the colour. Only ran them a week so far. How long till I will see a diffirence in colouring?

I'd have though too much power through a clutch would just cause it to slip a lot, the damage looks like it's being pushed too far and over compressed or catching on something? I assume the clutch bearing is standard and the shift lever is not bent or anything like that?
