Re: spud's track slag
Hi been a while since I last updated this. so thought I would as have got back into the track days and have got the bug again
.
As you can see I decided to give her a quick lick and do her white to tie in with the stickers. I was very surprised as how well it came out really good finesh on it and car looking really well. Just lashed it with some 2 pack ford diamond white (well my friend sprayed it for me I done most of prep work lol)
Before we had are first track day of the year a few weeks ago we had to sort the car out as was running like a pig. Was as if it was running on 2/3 pots when on full tilt going up da road. Then when ticking over was fine. 3/4 nights of swapping dizzys ,plugs, leads, ecu, checking that the timeing belt hadn't slipped. Also even checked to see if cams were not stuck in vtec and cleaned and checked all plugs it still wasn't no better. Was ready to burn it out lol. Then finally as per usal only thing left to check or swap was the injectors and what do yea no. We hit the jackpot!!! she went like a dream and took the revs out on da road. Couldn't belive it tbh as was really only thing left to swap round and check. Allways do it the hard way
.
So that was when I decided to treat it to some paint for the next track day that was coming up lol. Track day went great and it was raining in alot of hardware that was out on track. Really was going well. got to the last session and bang cv joint went yet again. That's 3 joints put in her from the start. Likes eating them lol. But all in all good day and can't wait to next one that is 15 of this month.
Shopping list we need for that.
New rubber (unsure what yet)
New pads all round (ones on it on last legs)
Cluch line to byepass damper
May get time to baffle sump
We update anyhow hope yous like the new look and we'll get some videos from next track day and post them up thanks

Should go well when all whieght out of it and nice rubber and pads. It allready has coilovers and handling is good on it so good start
