Should be a great set up when it's done. Personally I'd have opted either for the SR20, or like that Civic did, use Honda motor, but for that price, can't really turn down the CA18 really can you?
Look forwards to seeing it done!

Sr20 would be a better bet, but CA's are cheap as chips and I think I'm right in saying that it's a straight swap for a CA so if the car is made to fit a CA the SR20 should fit as well.
This project is all about proving IF it can be done and also learning along the way, I'm gonna make mistakes and mess stuff up, but that's all part of the process

Few pics from the s13 service manual
Engine, the gearbox mount is gonna take some thinking

Front Subframe

Rear Subframe

The front has no upper control arm, which although makes things easier, may prove a problem as to if the shock tower is strong enough to handle that setup on the lude!

Cracked on striping the shell today
Rear Subframe removed

Removed the exhaust heat shielding to get a better look at the tunnel

Removed the fuel tank

Clear path now through to the rear of the car

That's it for now, need to strip the front and the rest of the interior

I'm thinking out the bumper or wing, RWD cars manage to have the exhaust out the back but it totally depends on how much clearance there is, plus it's less fab work to have a the exhaust come out the front, it's one of those unknowns till i get chopping the shell up and getting things lined up
BTW this won't be road legal, as soon as I take a grinder to the monocoque it needs an SVA test I believe
