you know what. you guys put fear in me saying that. but last night I must have had the strength of a god. managed to get them off relatively quickly. I did it when the manifold was warm so I don't know if this has anything to do with the expansion of the metal.

on the other hand I couldn't get it past the power steering hose that sits just above it. which came with rain so its a job for today.

heres my old centre console which I may spay and see how it comes out but needs more work that was worth it

You realise it was us saying you should expect trouble that meant there wouldn't be any right?

slight panic

finally received my coil overs after taking the plunge on the yellow speed. front and rear both came with same bases on the bottom of the strut. is this something I should be concerned about? nafeman could you advise hear as iv seen a few pic on the web and put me in a bit of a panic haha. @NafemanNathan

So did you go for those ebay ones? I thought they'd sold elsewhere and then someone on here actually pointed out that they all had two-stud top mounts. So I thought you were going for brand new from Tegiwa???

Because yes, the fronts should have 3 studs and the rears have 2

These were mine...

The closest two are the fronts.

I bought the brand new ones through tegiwa had to wait for them to come from Taiwan.
I have two 3 mounts and two 2 mounts,
the bracket that's sits on the suspension arm with bolt through is what I'm worried about missing, did yours come off the car?

Oh sorry mate, misread what you wrote and jumped to a conclusion. Yeah, you'll utilise the original lower front forks for the fronts, but the rears should come with new forks.

What you got in the box should look like this (Except for the rear lower bolts)...

Infact your right. Didn't get a proper look at them last night but there all three stud. This has f'ed me off so much. Thanks for your help tho dude
