I like the black wheels personally, but I'd add a thin red pinstripe round the rim to draw the eye to them, otherwise they look a bit lost, imho

Was thinking about black wheels on mine at some point :?

That's a nice idea!

Now, how to do that...

Hmmm

So I've finished installing my fancy alarm and immobiliser.

It's dead good.

I now have keyless entry and exit - as I approach with the remote in my pocket the car unlocks. If I walk away, at about 4m away it locks with a bleep and a flash of the indicators.

I have an engine start/stop button where the cig lighter was, which will only start the car if the remote fob is in the car.

If the fob is not in the car, one press of the button switches on the acc circuit for 15 mins.

The remote fob will also remotely start the engine from a distance. When started this way, the car stays locked and the indicators flash every few seconds to warn of this. The car runs this way for 10 mins max.

If I approach the car, it unlocks. If I then get in and press the brake pedal the system knows I'm there and I can drive away.

There's a knock sensor which will set the alarm off if the system is armed.

And the fob has a remote boot release button, which doesn't work yet as obviously I'd need to fit an electric boot release solenoid.

V nice.

That sounds brilliant man, excellent system!
