I was going to say I've got a Type-S front lip to tie in with the rest of the kit if you're interested?
Got to get it through its MOT at the end of this month so not wanting to buy anything before then, but I may consider after dude :) fingers crossed she just sails through!

Yeah no worries. I'm in no rush to sell it... Even if it is in the way

Good luck with the MOT :)

Dude, i just noticed you're only in Hemel. Im about 15miles from you :D Just waiting for my new rod ends to come before i can get cracking with the coilovers.

I like the rocker cover man, really makes me want to do mine. Did you do the valve clearances yourself?

@BenLUDE

I did do the rocker cover myself and I do have a spare one sitting around all cleaned up, not a spec of oil on it! Literally ready for painting :)! More than happy to lend a hand with refurbing one :) just the weather is fairly rubbish atm so was going to wait till summer and sell it on refurbed :)

Nice to see a Lude nearby! Would be good to meet up sometime dude! :D

Spotted this car on Sunday heading towards Maylands in Hemel Hempstead.
Car is looking fresh, lovely to see another well cared for lude on the road.

Excellent progress so far. Sorry to hear about the civic coupe, I used to have an EK civic coupe too and loved it to bits. Didn't go as far as getting a engine conversion though. The prelude is an all round better than the civic, although the civic does have its weight being an advantage. Preludes are quite heavy. But that H22a8 is a beast

Miester R coilys are highly recommended (had them for 5 years now and never gone wrong).
Solid fabrications are highly recommended too if your after a custom exhaust - my brother got his done there and they are very good.

Looking forward to seeing the progress on this one.
We should link up one day and have a mini local photoshoot.

Thank you for the comments dude! To be honest after meeting up with a few of the Prelude owners at Japfest and being on the forum a while, the Prelude is much more mature and doesn't have the added scene value that comes with having a modified civic. Don't get me wrong the civic was a great nimble car!

Thanks for the suggestions regarding the exhaust system, I'm liasing with a couple of my car friends who know a guy who does a decent job at a decent price, otherwise i'll be using longlife as they did a great job on my civic.

It would be good to meet up at some point if your local, my girlfriend is a photographer as well so she can pull of some great pics for us! 8-)

Little bit of an update :) Was gutted to not get my Motegi Kit fitted in time for Japfest! I bought the kit from @tommodon (Really nice guy!) a couple of weeks prior to Japfest but not having a workshop it was left up to the weather to decide when it would be fitted.

I woke up bright and early on Sunday to get the front lip which needed a bit of a refurb, finished off with a couple of coats of lacquer after doing the prep work and paint the weekend prior. Thankfully the weather held up (have the sunburn on my arms to prove it!) Once I had fitted the rest of the kit and had a small break the lacquer was dry enough that we could get it fitted late in the afternoon.

Anyways enough talking and more pictures! ;)

Let me know what you think!

I purchased some Civic Type R alloys off of Ebay from a guy which is only a stone throw away from me, fully refurbed in gunmetal so hopefully will get those picked up and fitted this coming weekend! I went to view the alloys after Japfest and the guy mentioned for the right money he would happily end the auction and shake my hand then and there. However After trying to haggle him down I decided to leave it up to the auction to settle the price I was willing to pay.

I'm glad I did too as I saved a lot more than his 'Buy it now price' when I went to see him!

Next job will be to fit the Tein lowering springs that I purchased from @ddoubledanny at Japfest, also a great guy and I can't help but think I wouldn't have picked these up for a better price ;)

Just a simple Motegi kit transforms the whole car nicely..

Top work. 8-) 8-)
