So, its been a few months and there's been good progress...

The car is stripped fully now though the engine bay has been reassembled. LOTS of new parts from all over the world and a lick of paint and it's starting to come together. Next up is the bodywork which will be a few months work for me (part time!).

...and the interior now the dash is out.

Windscreen needs to come out (and be replaced) so dash out makes life much easier!

Really doubt this car will be ready this year but I'm heading in the right direction.

I've never heard of HGF on the B20A7 either, and mine did 175k before I sold it with no issues. Good luck with the rebuild. I was at a similar point re: rusty arches as you. I had mine rebuilt and sprayed good as new.

Thanks Greg! I'm in no rush to get this finished so I'm spending lots of time on the details without overly-restoring the car. I want something I'm happy to drive when it's done - if it's immaculate it'll end up staying in the garage under a cover! This said, I really can't wait to drive it once it's all sorted!!! 8-)
