As above, when I break my Prelude....I'll be taking my coilovers off. So obviously need to fit some standard shocks.
As the car will be scrapped the shocks need to be drokked, anyone got some for free I can have? Obviously, I'll pay for postage.

Will the scrappy not come with an hi-ab to pick the car up (literally!) ???

Probably not, I didn't actually think of that.

Give a couple a call, they usually do have hi-ab trucks for this reason, I'm sure you'll find one.

Depends where you are, round here you can get your scrap collected for free, but obviously you don't get any thing for it
I weighed in my old BB1 which was pretty much a bare shell year before last and got £120, had to take it on a trailer to the scrap yard myself though
Scrap has dropped though, weighed in our old Mk3 golf estate tail end of last year, drove it to the scrap yard and got £140

Yeah ain't good around here. We used to always get the pikeys come around on a Friday and collect our scrap lead etc. but no more.
I'm sure you'll get some anyway Rob, plenty of people on here must have spare sets kicking about. I had mine for about a year before someone wanted them.

TBH you could replace the shocks with a bit of wood if pushed, just to keep it rolling

I have a think and a truck with an arm/ crane thingy won't be able to pick up my car off my drive, because I have a driveway that runs down to the car park behind my house, and my driveway is off that. It's not wide enough for a truck so my car will have to be drivable.
