Lude Generation

Today is a bad day.

Woke up to fire damage in my car, looks like it’s started inside behind my speedo, no idea how, maybe something shorted, could be vandalism, don’t really care how just want to try get it sorted is possible but my whole dashboard is severely burnt/melted, smashed windscreen, soot/smoke everywhere, plastic melted everywhere, it will be a big job so not sure if it is worth it but just getting a feeler for what sort of parts I’ll need. Headliner is damaged but I’ve been planning something for that anyway, windscreen should be able to be replaced elsewhere. Central locking not working but keys still unlock the door.

I’m after the following all for 5gen -

Complete dashboard (all wiring loom involved)
Speedometer
Both Sunvisors

Anything else any of the experienced lude owners out there could recommend, fully aware this is a massive job so I’m expecting the worse!

wow that is indeed unfortunate
like you say it looks like a short of some sort that has caused a fire - quite a rare thing in a lude.....
hope you can fix it up - there should be someone near you that is breaking a lude and can get you the bits you need. I will ask around up here in Scotland but items would need posted and a full dash is a big item - its not impossible tho.

If you are happy to travel 130 miles I let you rip all you need from my 5g. Still runnable so all working. I only keep what I can use on 4gen.

Thanks for all the messages guys, I ended up buying a black motegi which is so much better than this, currently in the process of swapping bits over onto it, then will he stripping this one.

Will be posting a few bits up for sale soon (front lip, skirts, mugen spats) etc
