Lude Generation

Does anyone have a redundant brain, in just about any condition, or type,so long as it is compatible with the plugs on a BB4, 1994?(obd1).
The only bits that I need are the three plug sockets, and, ideally, the three matching plugs from the wiring loom. The intention is to make my own breakout box, as the originals seem to be made of unobtanium these days!

I take you mean ECU? Pretty much any OBDI Honda ECU will do the job if you want it only for its plugs. Any P13, P28, P30, P72 etc... will work.

If you want to call me a tosser, why do you not at least have the common decency to explain why? But then, on reflection, that question pretty much answers itself.
What is so stupid about making a breakout box ? You do know what a breakout box is, I presume??
Do you have privileged access to some sort of arcane knowledge, which tells you that my car will explode if I make and use such a simple device? Will it set fire to the car, and kill me in the process?
After forty years of rebuilding and race preparing far more complex cars than these, including designing and making my own electronic /electrical devices for various applications, such as telemetry, ignition control, etc., I THINK I KNOW WHAT I AM DOING. If there is some unique peculiarity about PGM FI, that makes my intention unworkable, then why could you not simply help out by explaining it , before I waste time and money finding out for myself, rather than sneering at me?
Gratuitous ,sarcastic insult is a very ugly thing in any circumstances, let alone between suposedly adult, like minded enthusiasts. Why do you derive amusement from it, especially at the expense of someone about whom you know nothing?

Errr, I think you have misunderstood that post somewhat...
I put that as a light-hearted poke at Donald's response, calling him a wanker for suggesting that everyone in general chat was a redundant brain.
Why would you think it was aimed at you? I haven't quoted you anywhere and it's directly under Donald's post (which by the way I believe he had also written as a purely jokey retort).
I'm not beyond reproach, so if I've caused offense to you then apologies, but TBH, personally I am very comfortable that is down to your interpretation rather than my intention or action.

Should you choose to no longer visit as a result of a post made by me, then that is a shame, but your call. I don't think I can recall any time when someone on here has been genuinely called a wanker in a way that was intended to cause offense.
I appreciate that as an infrequent visitor to the forum, you wouldn't have a feel for the normal level of 'banter' and see some of the relationships that are in place. However if you stuck around and read the general goings on in the forum, you'll see that is the general feel of the place and realise there is a healthy level of non offensive 'banter' (which is what Donald and I engaged in, above) which would probably then temper or adjust your interpretation of posts that are are made...
