Lude Generation

After a bare block only preff h22a or a7.
After stripping mine completely yesturday, noticed that one main bearing has completey crumbled away, now thinking of the worse to the whole block with bits of metal everywhere in block and head!!

Wont the H22a2 will be the same as an H22a bare block? And only the pistons will be different? They are both 50mm mains crank. H22a7 is 55mm mains crank.

I have a couple of h22a7 short blocks. One has a span bearing but I do have a crank to go in it.
one has a drokked piston although the bores are good.
iwas looking at keeping em both but for the right cash I'd let one go.
