4th Gen DSP Head Unit (Tape/Radio)

I don't have a DSP unit, but considering my experience with Honda electronics I would first try to replace ALL capacitors and resolder each and every point on the main board. I strongly recommend that you avoid replacing the capacitors with a bigger ones (bigger capacity). To give an example with the folding mirror relay unit, tweaking the capacitor size may result in slower retraction of the folding mirror.

Yes but that's just because by changing the value you changed the timing constant of a circuit.

Electrolytic capacitors do go bad after time, they can be tested, but it's usually cheaper and easier just to replace them.

But replace with the same value capacitance (with the voltage at least the same).

I have the Pioneer DSP unit DPX- M7361ZH and its the KEH-7361ZH Headunit that im after but no harm in getting both

Im not familiar with facebook so will have get some help

Nope head unit was just a standard prelude one - he does have the dsp unit tho

I exchanged some pms with the seller, and it seems he doesn`t know if the unit is fully functional- he only tested the power on. I sent him some wiring diagrams in order to check the DSP working. I didn`t want to do this directly in his for sale post, but informed him that whoever buys it won`t be happy to find out the unit is not working as it should.
If I wanted to hide something, I wouldn`t post that I have pm`d him, right?
I have several of these units as I mentioned earlier, and managed to get one working, in process of retrieving the DSP feature, so I don`t need another one, at $180 and untested
