Yeah the meisters and bc racing coilovers have adjustaable dampening, couldn't say if the teins do..MaccaIRL wrote:Dont the meister rs have adjustable dampening tho?Merlin wrote:The BC's, MeisterR Zeta-S, Tein Basic etc.. all have roughly the same spring rates. 9kg on the front and 6kg on the rear.
Mate has them in his integra and id imagine theyd be the same features in a lude?
Congratulations to vtecmec for winning May/June's Lude Of The Month, with his DIY Turbo BB1 build.

No the Tein Basics do not have adjustable dampening, but if you are after coilovers that give a comfortable ride adjustable dampening is something that wont make too much of a difference as you will have it set to soft anyway. The Tein Basics on my 5th gen are comfortable.

Yes they were, after Phil spotted this at the national meet I sold them on as damaged goods. Just for the record. I felt guilty at the meet after Phil pointing out one was completely fooked. I was under the impression they could be repaired at the time but have learned they can not. Fook coilovers, unless you have a large wallet stick to stock shock and lowering springs. Thats my plan anyway, although when the coilovers worked properly they gave a good ride.4thgenphil wrote:they were/are drokked and completly beyond repaircjc085 wrote:If they are moved on that fast must be something wrong with them! lol Does anyone here have their lude lowered? Why in the name of god are coilovers so expensive!
