''Hello, my name is'' stickers at events...

I know I missed speaking to some people I wanted to meet and get to know yesterday as I didnt know if they were member, random local, specator etc... I also know that the first few meets I went to I was a little shy and it took ages to put faces, names and forum names together.
Would anyone consider wearing a sticker while on the club stand to let other members know your 'part of the club'?
It's just that I know that it's hard to get into conversation circles sometimes when you only know people through a keyboard and you might not even know who they are anyway...
I dont even necessarily mean one of the generic ''HELLO, My name is'' sticker's, though they will be cheapest I'm sure.
I was thinking of maybe just the allgen silhouette from the banner with a space for handle and name below. That way people can catch a sly glimps if they forgot your name already, recognise someone they shared a joke with online and generally get a little more inclusive.
It's less than a fiver for 100 of the generic 'name is' stickers but it wouldnt be much more to get our own design printed on a 500 or larger run ... unless a member has access to cheap hi volume sticker printing? Im thinking we can send out a roll to a few of the usual suspects so they can be taken to main events where we get the core group who know each other well but also many members who are not as well known. Also it would let us know who are friends of members who have come along (worth talking to) and random passers by (maybe let them pass) etc..
So is this a bit sad or something people might be willing to adopt in the name of club cohesion?
