HI All
Just a quick one. I am to be handed a new phone from my cousin (HTC one x) as he is upgrading.
But ive noticed the phone uses a micro sim card
I am still using the standard sim card. How do i get hold of a micro sim card? Would t mobile give me one for free?
Cheers

You can ring any service provider and get one for free.

Haven't done it myself but by all accounts you can just cut a normal sim card down to micro size and it'll work. You'll need to do some googling to figure out which bits to chop off though

That would do it - it won't work if your sim is too old though. Fire up a pic of the sim, and I can tell you if it's cuttable or not.

Same phone I got a few months ago. As others have said, great phone.
I just rang Orange and they special delivered new SIM out to me there and then, no charge.

Nice one guys.
Thanks for that. Shall ring t-mobile and see if they can help
Does the HTX one x phone battery last long? i heard that if you upgrade it to the latest jelly bean version battery life dramaticaly reduces

The opposite is true - upgrade the software cause the latest version comes with a power saving setting. turn that on, otherwise battery life is horrendous. With it on, battery life is fine.
Does take bloody ages to charge though (over a couple of hours)
