You serious?! :o ... Or is this a text you've just received?

Who was it with and how long did it take? How much pushing did you have to do?

My girlfriend is doing the same. She's sent to letters now, but had no reply to either

I get texts all the times saying I can earn £££ much if I claimed. But never took a loan out or don't have any credit cards. :?

People, you HAVE to do this.
I was pretty sure I was owed it from the last loan I ever had (only had three, all for cars) as I went self employed not long after.
Anyway, long story short I sent in a letter and received, well, the cost of my engine and then some (and no I didn't spend it on that  - into 'savings' for little 'uns arrival.)
Turns out ALL three had PPI on them, and they have to pay the amount back, plus 8% and interest....seriously adds up.

Nits, I get those too. I can claim from the 'accident' I had too

Nafe, 100% serious mate :)

It was with natwest (rbs group) service was suprisingly good! Sent a letter, they text me to say they'd received it an I would a response within 5 days which I did. Apparently there are two account numbers linked to natwest cards so they wrote back and said I didn't have PPI on the account.

Sent another reply wih a copy of bank statement showing the PPI on the account and asked them to review it again.

Received a letter wih an offer of £2000 yesterday, I was expecting about half of that so very happy!

It's taken about 6 weeks to get to this point which isnt too bad, guess the money should be credited to my account I the next week or so. Had to send a declaration back saying that I accept the payout as adequate remuneration for the mis sold policy

I've only ever had 1 loan a few years back, i remember them offering me ppi at the time....and I knew it was all Bollocks and told them where to go with it. Wish I'd of said yes now, so I could claim some random money back.

As far as I know, they HAVE to respond within 12 weeks, or you can go to the ombudsman.

If I recall correctly we wrote something to that effect in the letter with regards to their response time.

This is for PPI if you didn't know about it right?
