I was getting about 25-26mpg on a run last time I was interested enough to work it out. But I do tend to say sod it and put my foot in until reminded by the voice from the passenger seat!

I got 36MPG on a very long motorway run using cruise control at 70mph.

I used to get 23mpg out of mine, but that was due to the way my engine was tuned, my gear ratios, and my heavy right foot. Before I stripped the car out, I was only getting 19mpg.

Yep - motorway driving you'll touch 36 man, I averaged that on the run to Japshow last year with three of us in the extremely full car. Wasn't being nice with the throttle either ;)
