Yes, it's a summer thread.
I thought I'd start one because today was a really nice day, even had myself a G&T in the garden at lunch! Went for a quick rip in the car and was generally just enjoying the sunshine. Ended up coming through town just as schools were kicking out, usually a nightmare for traffic but today was at a steady 10MPH crawl with some kids on scooters racing me on the pavement
was like some sort of movie scene!
What are you hyped for in these coming months?

True true it is a bit of an old-person drink, my nan in fact got me into them... but then she did always blitz my Swift with her del Sol
so I think my old-man points are negated by having a cool nan.

Track days, car shows and car meets.
Driving the car to these places and back in a fashion fitting to the weather.
Spending obcene amounts of money on VPower.
Scaring my missis half to death on motorway roundabouts
I have a feeling this summer is going to be a good weather one. all the signs are there. fingetrs crossed.

would be silly to buy another H22 powered car though... better to buy a whole different kind of thing surely?

On topic, I'm looking forward to the long warm evenings meaning I can get out in the garden after work with beer and spanners so I can get my Accord back working tip top. I'm also going to look at a cheap BB1 import with my girlfriend this week, so who knows - might be cruising round in a 'lude this summer
Then there's the other stuff planned - moving house, getting dogs, all sorts. This year's going to be a good one I think
