Haha well in one of my other thread regarding looking for another lude an s Spec was posted, and im meant to be picking it up next weekend as the guy who wanted to by it tried knocking the price down.
Just wondering what is different about the s Spec
Can you actually feel the extra power, am i right in saying they both have 220bhp?
My old lude was the 185bhp version, will i be able to tell the difference?

ATR is 212Bhp
Type S and S spec are both 217bhp.
The S spec is a basic BB6 chassis so no 4ws and sunroof was optional. It has the same 217bhp engine however the blocks are different and it has a viscous LSD (not great but better than nothing). It came with yellow needle dials, carbon trim like the Type S and similar seats without the red stichting and Prelude logo. Spoilers and parts were optional. Weight was about 1270-1280kg
The Type S uses the ATTS system bolted to the engine, uses much more complex stuff and the front suspension is a much better design, better camber curve to cope with the torque from the ATTS. The seats have red stiching and Prelude embroidery. Weight about 1310kg because of the ATTS. However atts does not weight 40kg. More like 15-20.
Car for car. If go with the ATTS because the front suspension is great.
I removed ATTS because it was causing issues with the tunning of my suoercharger and the Helical Mfactory diff i now have does 80% of the same job with no ATTS weight.
Would i have started with a Type S if i knew i was going to remove ATTS. Yes.
S-spec wont be a disappointment. Still epic.
