So I wantedto open up the surf with a better flowing exhaust.

Cut a long story short I found a guy on another forum who works on 4x4s and paid him money. Not very much as it goes but he asked me to be hush about that bit.

It took time to work out the details but finally the truck has a massive pipe out the side and sounds like this:

I love the sound the turbo makes as it unloads. thats amplified with more load. It runs better and it feels more like a car now. Rather than a land slug

I went for a 3'' seperated wastegate downpipe from the turbo to a 2.75inch main pipe. A single 12'' long hotdog silencer in the middle and then a slash cut side exit. 8-)

Guy called stringer runs overfab in westbury. He has loads of fab experience and turns out good work.

I like it 8-)

Need a new exhaust on my truck soon, it's got the wrong one (manual version rather than auto) and it clangs around on my chassis as none of the hangers fit. Might have to bear your set up in mind!

:D hoped you would see this. 3'' straight pipes on 4x4s is what itys all about
I would say he is worth it. With the silencer, reducer and two rolls of wrap I paid 600 all in. Thats what most fab places charge for a downpipe alone. He had it for a week but it was great work.
