3G: How to gain access to cabin fan?

My fan makes an irritating noise when switched on.
I can live with it - but hoping its an easy job to get to it and just give it a good clean.
Does anyone know:
1. How to gain access and remove?
2. Does a 3G have a cabin filter?

It lives behind the glovebox, so you'll need to remove that completely. And no, it doesn't have a cabin filter.

Or, poke your nose under the scuttle panel, which is the intake end, there may just be a leaf or something similar in there.

That does sound like the rustling noise!
Do i need to remove the scuttle panel?

Is that not a cabin filter in the top left back foam thing?

The blower is the white thing on the left hand side.
The foamy flap thing you can see is the recirculating flap.

I ll attempt to take blower apart to clean:
Didnt know cars had heaters?
Always thought it was only hot engine air being re-directed to cabin???!!!!
