Lude Generation

Noticed it was on itv4 so put it on for the first time in years (used to be an avid fan).

so I've now discovered that itv's coverage really is absolutely terrible to the point of being basically unwatchable

yeah I know I was at Llandudno sunday the organisation was crap they are killing rallying in this country. I love motorsport but I just walked away they said there would be a parade of rally cars and group b cars.
I was pretty excited to watch them what turned up was a load of minis (10-15) some nice some with nothing to do with rallying one even towed through the town on a trailer some Mg's a couple sounded nice most were driven by really old men who never go above 2500 rpm then the best ones came through 4 rally escorts a rover 3500 a Nissan or something and a porsche I was gutted where was the fire breathing real group b cars none of them spun a tyre or did a doughnut they just rolled through and parked up then there was a few hours of nothing while they waited for the wrc to roll in I gave up

they had a great line up of group B rally cars at the service area last year, got some pics and film somewhere....

i never bother watching the wrc stages any more, mainly due to the price - £25 for 1 stage!!!!!!!!! WT actual F!!

i go to a lot of the local mid and north wales rallies, much much more entertaining and not regulated by safety nazi marshals lol

yeah wrc has sort of dropped right off the map - i guess btcc has taken over
still good to hear its back on telly even if coverage is terrible

This was about banning this thing a couple of years ago, which was built by a farmer and was way more interesting than any modern rally car
