EMERGENCY. ..kind of

Post by Tashini » Tue Aug 05, 2014 7:22 pm

Does anyone happen to live near Blackburn?

My old lude is sat on gumtree. She is in a sorry state. Obviously she is also halfway across the country and I can't get her home (no tax and knackered clutch master cylinder).

Would anybody be able to pick her up for me till I can find a trailer to come pick her up?

Lots of fluttering eyelashes!

Tashini!

Whoever lives near to it would have the same problems as you? That is, it isn't taxed and something vital is guff so THEY would need to get it transported somehow?

I have a trailer, but no tow car and no storage space... It's also a drokking long way :?

I think the easiest/cheapest thing to do would be to get the clutch master cylinder changed, tax it and drive it home?

Yeah clutch master cylinder should only take half an hour or so including bleeding. Gonna be a lot cheaper then paying for transport for it!

Or just put a quote request up on Shiply - you'll probably find someone will be able to do it for a similar cost or less than the cost of fuel to get there and back with a tow vehicle.
